Prairie Facility Solutions Inc. was incorporated in Calgary in 2009 to provide owners and operators with a disciplined, single-source partner for the operation and stewardship of complex buildings.
Our story
The firm was founded in the wake of the 2008 downturn, when Canadian asset owners began consolidating fragmented facility services under accountable, performance-based contracts. Our founders — engineers, tradespeople, and finance professionals from across the prairies — built the practice on a simple premise: that the quality of a building's day-to-day operation is the quality of the people on site and the systems that support them.
From a single Calgary office, the firm has grown to support clients in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Ontario, with a portfolio that includes Class A commercial towers, post-secondary campuses, healthcare facilities, and industrial estates governed by CSA, ISO, and Transport Canada regimes.
We remain privately held, deliberately mid-sized, and selective about the engagements we pursue. Our objective is not scale for its own sake, but durable client relationships measured over decades.
